Bouncing Woolies Review

Here comes another review on a product that is probably not "well-known" as far as the big labels go. Bouncing Woolies is a company that sells wool dryer balls, scented or unscented. They're also available in colors, and at the moment even some limited edition colors/scents! They also have sales every now and again on their facebook, so you'll definantly want to check them out there!

A few months ago we upgraded our washer & dryer to a set of HE Front Loads made by LG. Upfront, we were told, LESS detergent, and NO dryer sheets. Ok, no big deal. Until I realized that my clothes out of the dryer, had static. Talk about a nightmare. I found out about Bouncing Woolies through Facebook, went to their website to read some more about this new-to-me wool dryer ball theory. Their customer service is AWESOME. I couldn't find the answer I was looking for on their site, so I emailed them, and received a VERY quick response. I was curious whether these would be OK for HE Front Load dryers, since I'm not supposed to use dryer sheets, I wasn't sure what the rule of thumb was.

A few days later I took the plunge, and ordered 4 of their Bare Naturals Fresh Linen scented dryer woolies. Upon receiving the package, and opening, I loved the smell! I immediately tested them out with the load of the cloth diaper inserts I had going in the wash as soon as they were ready for the dryer, which was perfect because I've noticed those tend to have some static cling from the dryer.

Out of the dryer, I was hooked! No stiff fabric, and no static! They also smelled very clean too, which is another big plus!

A HUGE thanks to Bouncing Woolies for their great customer service, and a great product that put an end to the static and long drying times I had in my new dryer!

Review of Nubunz Cloth Diapers

About a month or so ago, Aiden's dad & I decided that we were going to switch Aiden to cloth diapers. We were tired of buying disposable diapers! Now, we still use disposable currently, as well as the cloth diapers, but eventually we're hoping to be 100% cloth. I wished I'd started cloth from the beginning, to be honest. Better late than never!

After receiving recommendations from several people, I chose to try out the cloth diapers from http://www.nubunz.com/. At such a great price ($8) and factory seconds available for $5.50, I wouldn't be at such a loss if they weren't quite what I was looking for.

Upon arrival, I prepped the cloth diapers [after researching the internet extensively on how to get started on cloth diapering!] and got set to get things started with Aiden's first cloth diapering adventure. I love the microfiber inserts, and at naptime/bedtime I actually place a microfiber towel [purchased at Menards as a package of 8 for 99cents after rebate] folded up in between the two inserts that came with the diaper. They are definantly absorbant enough that way through the night, and through naptime. The extra towel will add a little more bulk, making it seem very bulky on him, but he doesn't seem to mind one bit! I also use flushable liners which makes cleaning up a breeze if needed!

I am VERY impressed with the Nubunz diapers. It has already saved us money on buying disposable diapers. I love how the snaps adjust to the size I need them, and will adjust with him as he grows [eliminating having to buy another size for my growing boy!]. And I DREAD laundry, with a passion, it's my least favorite household chore, so I was really worried about adding MORE laundry to my life with the start of cloth diapering, but it's really not as bad as I thought it would of been. I was very afraid of trying cloth diapers, the task seemed so daunting, and so much extra work added to my already busy life, not to mention you always hear people say "Oh my goodness, it's so much work, it's so messy" etc, etc. Yes, it is a bit of extra work, but it saves money. Saving money is better I think.

I definantly would recommend Nubunz diapers for any new mom, or mom to be
